Dr Alireza Afrasiabi

MD, AMC, FRACGP

Dr Afrasiabi graduated in 2004 from Urmia University of Medical Sciences in Iran, before moving to Australia in 2010. He then completed the exams of Australian Medical Council (AMC) and RACGP, and successfully became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of GPs (FRACGP), when he was awarded the RACGP Mary Mahoney Award for his performance in the GP fellowship assessment. Since this time he has been working as a General Practitioner in Queensland.

Dr Afrasiabi has experience in hospital and general practice in both rural and metropolitan areas and has been working as a General practitioner in Queensland since 2012. He has a strong interest in skin cancer medicine and skin surgeries, to which he has completed a wide range of courses though the highly renowned Skin Cancer College of Australasia and University of Queensland.

Outside of being a doctor, he enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, gardening and sports.
