Dr Thazin completed medical training in Myanmar and, after moving to Australia in 2012, she practiced in Alice Springs and Cairns Hospitals for 3 years. During her GP training in Northern Territory, she practiced in Darwin and Katherine clinics including paediatric extended training with Royal Darwin Hospital Paediatric Outreach team. She attained RACGP fellowship in early 2017. She also has Diploma in Child Health (University of Sydney, Westmead) and is currently doing Australian Institute of Dermatology Course to hone her dermatology skill. While she enjoys all scopes of general practice, she has special interest in Reproductive and Sexual Health, Women’s Health, Paediatric and Chronic disease management.
