Dr Thiri Soe obtained her medical degree in 2005 from the University of Medicine in Yangon, Myanmar. From 2011, she moved to Australia and worked in Alice Springs Hospital as a resident medical officer for 3 years in Accident and Emergency, Obstetric & Gynaecology, General Medicine, and Surgery. During this time she also gained experience in Rehabilitation Medicine and Psychiatry.
From 2014, she undertook general practice training in Darwin and became a fellow of Royal Australian College of GPs (FRACGP) in 2017.
